We held our very first cookout to show appreciation to all our Volunteers. It went pretty well, not all could show up but we felt that if even just ONE Volunteer showed up it was well worth it. A few Volunteers did show up, we had hamburgers, hot dogs, macaroni salad, brownies, chips, soda and a lot more.
We invited the Ridenour Family to attend and they showed up and we got to meet them, as well as Lil Cash Ridenour, we felt so honored to meet the Family we are supporting and helping as part of our giving back to the Community who helps to support us.
While the Ridenour Family was there, we gave them $250.00 in Pre-paid Visa cards to help them with gas expenses to get Lil Cash back and forth from West Baden, IN to Indianapolis, IN where he is still undergoing treatments at Riley Hospital.
The money was raised by holding a benefit yard sale and we will continue to hold events and fund raisers for the Ridenour Family until they are no longer in need. God Bless them and God Bless Lil Cash and we pray that God will heal him very soon. Please pray for this Family.
